Producer - Europe

The role

We are open to candidates in GMT +0 time zone

MetaLab is primarily PST-based so the candidate applying for this role must be comfortable with ~2hrs overlap during their workday (often 4-6:30pm GMT), operating autonomously in the other hours. We have a small (and growing!) team in Europe — plus global clients — so we resource teams in the same time zone together when possible.

Your responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact and flow of communication for internal teams and clients. Create the project plan: collaborate with team leadership on project scope, activities and deliverables.  Define the communication plan, a detailed project schedule capturing milestones and dependencies. Collaborate with the project team on defining activities, dependencies, timelines, and requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (internal team and client) to define product vision and roadmap 
  • Review and provide feedback on work progress to ensure it meets MetaLab quality standards and project objectives
  • Manage project financials, timeline, resources, priorities and risks through a project’s lifecycle
  • Report on project status both internally and externally
  • Identify, mitigate, communicate and escalate project risks + opportunities
  • Support team members by removing barriers to their work and identifying ways to work effectively

The Must-have Shortlist

  • Agency experience
  • Experience managing web and native mobile products
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in design + engineering. Experience working with strategy, research, and content/copywriting teams a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills, including a nuanced understanding of the differences in working with startups and enterprise clients
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and trust with team members and clients
  • Unparalleled ability to read the room (and these days, a Zoom call)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
